The seminar is organized in collaboration with Dar es Salaam University College of Education and will be held on 26 January 2024 from 9 am to 11 am.

The seminar aims to critically reflect and broaden the debate on the negative impacts of human activity on the climate. The seminar will also address issues of colonial legacies, neo-colonial dependency and social and economic inequalities between developed and developing countries. In addition, the seminar will provide an opportunity to reflect on the position of the Global South to the narratives of the Anthropocene that are proposed by Western countries.
