We are very pleased to announce that the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange has granted the Faculty of Social Sciences UWr funding for the project:  "Everyone is welcome. A comprehensive program for the recruitment and integration of foreign students and academic staff at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Wroclaw".

As part of the project we will open a "Welcome Center", i.e. a place where all foreigners studying and working at our Faculty will receive professional and comprehensive help with administrative issues.

In addition, for the next two years (starting from the fall semester 2021) a number of activities will be undertaken to integrate the international and Polish community at our Faculty. The planned activities include intercultural communication and Design Thinking workshops, creating a faculty Mentoring Team, as well as regular integration events outside the walls of the university.

As part of the promotion of English-language studies at WNS UWr, a series of informational-promotional films will also be created, as well as virtual tours of the Department and University facilities.

In the competition 181 applications were submitted, 39 of them were funded. The project is led by dr Mateusz Karolak, the coordinator of the MA Programme Sociology - Intercultural Mediation.
